This course centers on crafting effective messages through print and
electronic media, utilizing essential tools for professional communication.
While covering print-based technologies and applications like word
processing, spreadsheets, multimedia presentations, image editing, and layout
tools, the course emphasizes the rapid acquisition of new online technologies for
media production problem-solving and staying current with technology trends. The
instruction adopts a critical perspective, enlightening students on the non-neutral
nature of these technologies and delving into the intricate realms of social justice
and accessibility embedded in their creation and utilization.
